How does a livestream trial class work?
When you sign up for livestream trial class with us, you start a journey with your child, that will develop a love of learning that will last for a lifetime!

Our livestream classes are easy to access, and we support you every step of the way.

When you pay for a trial class, we will contact you to find the most suitable day and time that suits your schedule for the trial class.

We will email you the worksheets that you need for the class as well as an extra materials list, so you can print and prepare everything you need for class before the class starts.
Apart from printing some worksheets, you might have to gather a few other items, such as suitable toys that can be used as counters for math activities. Just follow the list we provide, and you will be ready for class, using what you have at home.

We host our livestream classes using Microsoft teams. This software is available from Microsoft for free. We will give you the link to the classroom. The classrooms are safe and secure, only customers with the link for that class can join.

The world has changed due to covid-19, and while we love having the kids in our face-to-face classes, we must accept that being in lockdown is a new normal. We must do what we can to give our kids the best start in life, even during lockdowns.

While we do use devices with screens to deliver our virtual classes and communicate to each other, this time spent in livestream class is not “traditional screentime”. It is rather educational, fun, and interactive time spent with a teacher. Thus, it is considered as “guilt-free-screentime”, no different from kids attending school online across Australia.

Having a routine and connection to the outside world is very important for families, and this time spent in a Shichida class is not just for the children. We aim to support, encourage, and guide the parents too. This learning journey is for you the parent as much as for your child.

So please join us for a live streaming trial class today and see why so many people choose the Shichida method of education for their children.

Parents share their Shichida early learning centre experience…
“I’ve noticed my daughter does remember things quite well, she can listen to songs only a few times and she remembers the tunes and the lyrics. She is one of the few kids in her class who can read at her age. Callum can count to 10. He sings the alphabet and he knows his colours and his shapes. He will sing along, it’s just play for him. There’s not that many programs out there for young kids, and you know why not? It doesn’t hurt them and they enjoy it. It does help them to develop to the best of their potential and their ability. They do an amazing amount of stuff in that one hour that I could not do at home with them.”
– Jane, Caitlyn (daughter) & Callum (son)
“Chloe has been attending Shichida Australia since she was 18 months old. I first heard about it on TV and thought it looked like an interesting program – mainly because it worked on skills like visualisation techniques, fine motor skills, confidence building and fun aspects of learning that didn’t seem to be offered in any other activities. This has really stimulated her learning, improved her concentration and helped her prepare for the transition to school. Shichida also gave us the tools to be able to incorporate opportunities for learning into everyday life – this has been incredibly helpful. The first time we realised that Chloe knew her numbers and letters was when my husband was out washing the car. He could hear her mumbling away and went to check up on her. She was just two at the time, and was reading our car’s licence plate!”

Examples of Shichida early learning activities
Intuition Games

Children are naturally intuitive. We help them get to know and trust their instincts so that they may grow to listen to and trust themselves throughout their lives.

Image Training
Children learn to calm their minds and focus their imaginations to visualise themselves in a variety of situations and imagine walking in different shoes. They use these techniques to improve empathy, visualise their goals clearly and inspire creative thought and writing.
Working Memory
Children at our early learning centres have impressed many people with their incredible memories. We ingrain proven mnemonic devices and photographic memory skills so that our students will find any future learning and study easy and stress-free.

Flashcards are designed to engage the subconscious and expose the children to a large variety of topics, vocabulary and mathematics. When the children start talking, they often express a keen curiosity for and awareness of what they have seen at Shichida.

Critical Thinking

Our early childhood critical thinking activities help to build up one of the most valuable of life skills. Shichida critical thinking activities include mazes, puzzles, hands on activities, tangrams and open-ended questions to help your child think creatively and independently.

Shichida children gain confidence in literacy by practising phonics, exploring alphabet letters in many ways, reading and making up stories and using their fantastic memories to build an extensive vocabulary. We empower children with the tools to express themselves in both written and verbal form.

At Shichida, our children learn to love maths and numbers! We have creative ways of introducing numeracy to the children that explore numbers from different angles and in hands-on ways to instil a passionate understanding of maths and numeracy. Children don’t fear maths as a subject when they attend Shichida classes.

By regularly listening, singing and playing instruments, your child learns to appreciate music, gain a sense of rhythm and express themselves. Many of our children have developed perfect pitch through our music activities.

Fine Motor Skills

Children develop their fine motor skills through a variety of activities. We start with fingertip training and then build on that foundation by using chopsticks and scissors to train kids to hold their pencils with the correct grip. Fine motor skills are also directly linked with helping the brain grow.

What makes SHICHIDA different for the rest?

Shichida is a world-renowned teaching method backed by more than 60 years of evolving research into early childhood brain development.
The curriculum is age-specific, tailored to children’s attention spans and brain capabilities. At Shichida Australia, we fill in the gaps left by traditional education systems to equip our students with well-rounded skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.
The Shichida Method is unique in that it also teaches skills most often associated with the right brain such as empathy, creativity, intuition, imaging and photographic memory. With all the research behind us, we invite parents into the classroom to learn how to become their child’s first and best teacher.
